1. Question: What is International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) ? Answer: The IMO is the world championship of mathematics for high school students. The IMO is held annually in different cities. The IMO 2008 will take place in Madrid, Spain. You can get more info on IMO here
2. Question : What is Olimpiad Matematik Kebangsaan (OMK) ? Answer: OMK is a prestigious mathematical competition in Malaysia, recognized by the Ministry of Education. It is open to all secondary school students from Form 1 to Form 6. The main objective of OMK is to celebrate mathematical excellence among high school students, as well as to select Malaysian representatives to the Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO) and the IMO.
3. Question : Why should I attend this camp? Answer : To sharpen your Mathematical skills (in particular, problem solving skills) as well as to develop rigorous and logical thinking.
4. Question : How about the modules? Answer : The modules used in this camp are developed exclusively for students who excel in high school Mathematics and seek to challenge themselves further.
5. Question : How much should is the fee? Answer : The fee is RM 150.00 for a 16 hours worth of program. The fee covers one tea break and lunch per day. You will receive a complete set of notes and stationeries.
6. Question : How to get more info and register? Answer : Call the above number or email to info@ardentedu.com with details.
7. Question : How to make the payment? Answer : We only accept payment during registration. You can make the payment by cash (preferred) or check. Make sure the check is payable to “Ardent Educational Consultants Sdn Bhd”.
8. Question : How about the accommodation? Answer : No accommodation will be prepared. Please make your own arrangement if travelling from outside KL.
9. Question : What is the deadline for registration? Answer : The day before the program, i.e. 1 June 2008. However, please register early since we are expecting a waitlist. We will contact you to confirm your seat.
10. Question : How many participants will there be? Answer : We only accept 60 participants. Please register early to confirm your seats!
11. Question : Where is the place exactly located? Answer: Please use the Google Maps to find the place. key in HUKM and the place is just nearby.
