So song my son lately. He get those song from the Youtube Barney Show..:D

He also can repeat few sentences that he memorize from the movie he saw. In the recent Kung Fu Panda movie, there is a moment where Po the Panda ask his master sifu on how to could the master sifu change him into the Dragon Warrior. After few questions, Po repeatedly ask “HOW?” , “HOW?” , “HOW?”. Sifu answer “I dont know”….”I dont know”……My son really like the scene until he can memorize these two sentences and repeat its fluently.

I am glad that without a fernsehapparat (its German for television), he still can learn like others kid did at home. Yes, we dont have television at home. And me and my wife personally had grown up without having television at home. So what I did was to download all the programs,movies,videos from the Net that might help my son to learn like others kid do. ELECTRONIC LEARNING RULES!!

After all I am planning to start homeschooling my son. I think I have ample time before push off to the office to spend some time teaching him new things. So far my son (2 years old) can easily read all the Jawi and Rumi alphabets. From alif to ya and from A to Z. So the next step is to introduce him on proper sentence building both in Malay and in English.

Tips to start homeschooling for kids from 2-4 years old.

1. Plan your syllabus
2. Construct a timetable that easy to follow
3. Be loose. Dont force.
4. Use the Internet to equip your son with additional materials
5. Get in touch with the homeschooling community in the net
6. Concentrate more on learning materials like videos, songs and images
7. You can add anything to the list by lefting it in the comment form. I will update the list from time to time…TQ
