This year the Canton Fair is organised in a new place. Last time it took place in the heart of Guangzhou city where traffice seems to be so busy and crowded during the fair.
What I can say that, the Canton Fair is 5 times bigger than our PC Fair in Malaysia. Moreover it has 3 different phases running through the whole month of October.
I spent nearly 5 hours there. I manage to visit only the C area that gather all exhibitor from gifts, toys and optical instrument manufacturer. Have a serious discussion with few exhibitors about being their sole distributor in Malaysia.
See video of one of the distributor.
I am so glad that the organizer understand the need of halal food for muslims. They provide a place for muslim restaurants to sell halal food. Nevertheless a place for praying is still not proper.
I left Canton Fair at 2 pm. Then I visit the Cloth and Watch Market at Shang Xia Jiu Lu. Buy few items for family and friends.
Back to the hotel at 7pm. Have dinner at Old Ma restaurants and the duck taste really good there. YAm yam..see you tomorrow…..
I am blogging from China right now. My trip is part of Ardentedu new prodcut development process. I am here to look for manufacturers that can suppy what we need to complete our product.?
I arrive at 2045 after 4 hours journey from LCCT. I have experienced Cork,Galway and Dublin Airport in Ireland, so I must say our LCCT deserve 4 stars.
I have went to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and I must say China is far more better than these three country. But I can feel the dusty air….
1. You love your role, you love being with your students and you couldn’t imagine doing anything else. You were meant to teach special needs children, you know this in your heart.
2. You have a great deal of patience and know that little steps in learning go a long way.
3. You know your students well and they are comfortable and at ease with you, they enjoy having you as their teacher and look forward to going school each day.
5. You understand your students, you know what motivates them and you know how to scaffold activities to ensure that maximum learning occurs.
6. You take each student from where they are and provide experiences that will maximize success. You’re always discovering new things about your students.
8. You thrive on challenge, can easily build relationships with your students and your student’s parents.
9. You are a life-long learner and committed to the profession.
10. You have a never ending willingness to ensure that all students reach their maximum potential. You constantly strive to ‘reach and teach’ every student under your care.
UPSR is a national examination for standard 6 students in Malaysia. There two categories of the examination
5 subjects for Sekolah Kebangsaan and Sek Rendah Kebangsaan
7 subjects for Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina dan Tamil) — IMHO the culture of being hardworking among SRJK students had been nurtured earlier? than their friends in SK and SRK. Why not? They need to study 7 subjects rather than 5 for their friends from SK and SRK.
When the ministry will release the result?
Last year the result was announced on 15 November 2007. Just before the school holidays.
This year the school holidays will start on 14 November 2007. So I guess that the result will be out week before the date, i.e between 7-10 of November 2008.
You can read more about the UPSR here at the free Wiki
So students and parents, dont worry all the hardwork will pay. Just pray and keep hoping for the best.
My son always come to me and disturb me at the desktop while I was surfing the internet, or doing some works. He always pretend like he knew what I am doing and try to immitiate what I am working on.
Me and my wife are working on our own syllabus for home schooling our children. At the moment we already collected few useful sources from the net (free of course) to be included in the syllabus. Next step is to find a suitable time and period to start the whole thing. We already draft down the timetable and we need a little bit time and budget to kick everything off.?
